Brain Injury

It is not uncommon for people to experience reading problems after brain injury.

This may be caused by trauma, surgery or diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis or stroke.

Double vision is not uncommon and can be easily treated.

Eye movement problems or visual field problems may prevent comfortable reading however there are some treatment options which may help to facilitate reading.

If someone has accompanying physical disabilities then reading may be a pleasurable pursuit however visual problems may prohibit it.

Epilepsy sufferers may also experience visual difficulties which can be treated, especially pattern glare or visual stress.
